What's in Your Files?

Likely More Than You Think...

I’m a coach, and I [still] utilize coaches to support me in optimizing my performance - just like you.

BUT I’m going to let you in on a little secret…

Your BEST coach?

It’s you.

As athletes, we’ve had a lot of coaches. Chances are some great ones and some not-so-great ones. We’ve gotten a ton of advice from workouts to skills to mindset and so much more.

I liken each of those pieces of advice (that I’ve made into my own) to flashcards or even songs on my playlist. Altogether, they’re The Lauren Files. I’ve paid a lot for them in time, sweat, tears, and/or money. I’ve earned them.

I don’t use everything at one time. There are something that no longer work. There’s a lot I’ve gotten rid of throughout the years.

All of it is totally okay!

But I keep collecting things. Because I never know when I’ll need to switch things up to keep moving forward. I might face a challenge later and need a different approach. Sometimes I just get bored and want to try something totally new.

You’ve learned a lot of things that work for you, right? Some that don’t too.

Curate YOUR Files like you curate your playlist. Keep those tried and true feel-good methods in the list you play most.

Save the rest like you save stuff to “My List” on streaming. You may want it someday and end up finding some real treasures.

At the end of the day, you’re going to be the one coaching YOU the most. And your success formula isn’t going to look like anyone else’s.

Cheers to that!

As an athlete, take the best you’ve gotten from coaches over the seasons and combine that with a deep knowledge of what works for you and what doesn’t.

When you hit an obstacle go through your files. See what else is in that library you’ve been building.

From one coach to another, I would let you know if it wasn’t a winning strategy.

All the Best,
Lauren

Supporting you to train your mind like you train your body.™️
