It's Closing Time ...

You don't have to go home, but you can't stay here.

As a child of the ‘90s, I’m a sucker for any and all music from the decade. One of the most popular references to moving on is the song “Closing Time” by Semisonic.

It’s an absolute classic. Check it out if you’ve never heard it.

Anywho, one of it’s iconic lines is “Closing time / you don’t have to go home / but you can’t stay here,” meaning you’re free (and encouraged) to keep going, just somewhere else.

And that’s what’s happening here. We’ve had a great run and so much fun providing insights, stories, and examples of what it can mean to be mentally and emotionally strong as an athlete.

While this has been an absolute blast and you all are a GREAT community, we’re taking a step back to evaluate where our energy is best utilized. While there’s a lot of it, we recognize it’s finite and want to ensure it’s being used in the most effective way. So as of today, we’re pausing communications from Beyond the Win. This isn’t goodbye. This is simply a break to recharge and reset to identify the next best steps.

We hope that you continue to believe in yourself and tune into resources that provide you with ideas and inspiration on what it means to perform at YOUR best.

Remember, this is your game. You get to play it in the way that makes sense to you. You’re stronger than you think you are, braver than you give yourself credit for, and worthy of everything you can dream of for yourself.

Honor your inner power and keep reaching for new heights! You’ve got this and we’re cheering for you every step of the way.
