How to Find YOUR Success Formula

It's easier than algebra.

Last week I let you in on a little secret….

You might think that, because I’m all about focusing on total fulfillment,(physically, mentally, and emotionally) I’d be really big into traditional meditation.

But I’m not. At all.

Why? Because it doesn’t work for me. That doesn’t mean it won’t work for you.

A lot of athletes who attribute their success, in part, to meditation. Serena Williams, LeBron James, Alex Morgan and Michael Phelps are among them.

For me, a more active form of mindfulness is effective. Visualization or intentional focus while I’m moving.

Here’s a simple way you can judge whether a strategy works for you…

Ask yourself, ā€˜Am I willing to come back to it?’

Try asking at least two or three times because sometimes there’s just a bit of discomfort in trying something new. But, if on that third time, it’s still a no, then move on!

There are plenty of other tools we can plug into your success formula.

Let us know which ones are working for you and what you haven’t tried yet.

Here’s the thing: as long as it’s healthy, you’re going to get 100% support from me. Because I know no 2 success formulas as exactly alike.

Yours is going to be different from your teammates’, coach’s and maybe even your parents. That’s okay!

Finding your individual formula for success is literally how you reach total fulfillment - mind, body, and soul.

BTW: The great thing about learning a bunch of different things to try is - even if it’s not something that goes into your daily or weekly routine, it might be something you can try in a particularly challenging time. I don’t journal regularly, but when I’m trying to work through a tough spot, it really helps me to get my thoughts out on paper.
