Thanks to Sasha Graham and her team at the Sports Will Save Us All podcast, I had the opportunity come up with this a-ha in real time.
We were talking about the importance of feeling your emotions and acknowledging what they're telling you and how that intersects with grit.
Simply because you feel and acknowledge your emotions doesn't mean you can't access grit.
In fact, what came up for me in this episode is that the 2 are very much connected.
Grit is the difference between experiencing your lowest lows and reaching your highest highs.
It's the adjustments and modifications you make to your success formula once you get back up from being knocked down.
