In the event you’re not a sports fan or don’t follow the NBA, here’s a snippet.

“MJ played 15 years and won 6 championships. Were the other 9 years a failure?”

And that wasn’t rhetorical. He flat out asked the reporter ….

who responded no.

Every game, every outcome, every season is a step toward success.

Just because you didn’t get what you wanted doesn’t automatically make it a failure.

As an athlete - in the game or retired - you lose (using the conventional definition) more than you win.

Take a cue from Giannis’ playbook … redefine the terms and play the game YOUR way.
